Religious Education For Grades (1-6)
Religious Education for Grades 1-6 Ascension Catholic Church provides instruction in the faith for 1st – 6th grade children. They are taught to believe and trust in a loving God receiving age-appropriate instruction in Catholic doctrine and practice. The religious education school year runs from September through May. The students also participate in RE activities, community service projects, and Vacation Bible School. No child will be refused classes due to financial constraints.

Religious Education Registration Instructions:
1) Complete the online RE Registration Form.
2) Make payment online OR send check payment to the Parish Office.
Make checks PAYABLE to “Ascension Catholic Church”: Please refer to the fee schedule on the form amount due. One payment may be given for all children enrolled. RE and the Edge use same tuition scale. Online Payment Option: Click here.
If using check, then please note the Student's name on the memo of the check. Contact the RE office to discuss financial assistance. To complete the registration process, please send a copy of the payment confirmation email to office@ascension-sd.org.
3) Make sure Parish Office has copies of sacrament certificates if not already done. Not needed if sacraments received at Ascension.
